Enabling the Addin

To enable an add-in, select File - Add-ins from the grid menu. The ROS2006™Add-ins form lists all add-in functions alphabetically, and each has an Enabled checkbox and a Status indicator of Trial Available, Trial Version, Registration Requested, Registration Required, or Registered. Check the relevant box in the Enabled column. A confirmation message window appears. Click the Yes button to enable the selected add-in on a trial basis. This changes the status from Trial Available to Trial Version. You have 14 days to set up and try out the add-in.

Set Up Example

To set up hour time periods for the hourly rentals:
•    Select setup and time periods from the main menu. 
•    Click on add to create a new time period. 
•    Click on minute and enter 30 in the quantity box to indicate that the time intervals on the grid are broken down to half hour increments.

•    Enter your open hours in the start and end time fields.
•    Let’s start this one at 8:00 am and the end time will be 7:00 pm. 
•    Click on update and close.

•    Next you will need to set up a new location, to do this :
•    Go to setup, locations in the main menu. 
•    Click on add to create a new location. 
•    We will call this Rentals, fill in any fields that apply or leave blank
•    update and close.

You will now need to add a new unit type:
•    Go to setup and types in the main menu. 
•    Click on add and type in the name of your unit type. 
•    We will call this Sea-doo. 
•    Type in the number of units in the location you created. 
•    Assign any taxes that apply.  Update and close.


To configure the rates,:
•    go to setup rates in the main menu. 
•    You will see the new unit type you created. 
•    Enter in the amount of the rental for the half hour you created. 

To view your rentals:
•    Go to setup, views in the main menu.
•    Click add to create a new view. 
•    We will call this Sea-Doo rentals.
•    Select the location and unit type. 
•    Select down to the minute grid to be displayed.
•    Update and close.

To view your down to the minute grid:
•    Click on the drop down located to the left of the toolbar. 
•    Select Sea-Doo rentals and your ready to start booking hourly rentals.
•    You will notice that your rentals are for one day only. 
•    To go to a different day click on the calendar tool or click on the arrow buttons to go to the next day. 
•    Click on the appropriate time slot or over several slots to reserve more than one half hour. 
•    Right click or click on the reserve button and make your booking.
