Cash Call Accounting

Hotels use call accounting to track and bill outgoing phone calls. ROS2006™ does not handle this directly, but communicates with specialized third party call accounting programs connected to your phone system. Currently you can configure ROS2006™ to communicate with three specific call accounting software programs: CASH, Genesis, and Affinity. As well, ROS2006™ supports any call accounting program that uses the standard HOBIC II interface.

Mapping

The map allows you to easily view the availability of each unit. You can do everything from the map that you can do from the grid except edit the units, unit types or locations. The graphical nature of the map makes it easier for your staff to understand the physical layout of your business. The Map Setup Form is used to add unit blocks to the map picture that you load into your ROS2006™ program.

Cash Draw

Configure the cash drawer to open only when you use certain payment types. The options are: All Payments, All Payments except Credit Cards or Cash Only. The All Payment option is the default. To check your configuration, click the Test Cash Drawer button. If your cash drawer settings are correct, the drawer should pop open. If it does not open, check your settings again.

Rez Collect

Our users are able to process credit cards right through the front desk program. We have aligned ourselves with JetPay one of the largest credit card processors in North America. They offer very competitive rates, and online access to your account for conflict auditing. It’s a great way to reduce your credit card processing fees.
